We will contribute to solving the food waste problem by organizing an event that utilizes non-standard vegetables and other discarded produce.

We will organize a food education event where participants can experience the growth of vegetables in the fields, creating a fun and educational experience for parents and children.

We will connect farmers directly with consumers, support local farmers, promote local production for local consumption, and reduce food mileage.

By supporting local farmers, we aim to prevent farm abandonment, create an environment that makes it easier for new farmers to enter the industry, attract new residents, and build a town where people can continue to live in the future.

By improving the quality of school meals, we will help ensure that all children attending school, regardless of their family’s financial situation, can have equal access to meals and reduce the risk of food insecurity caused by poverty.

We will promote environmentally friendly agriculture, which is said to reduce energy consumption by45% and carbon emissions by 40% compared to modern agriculture that relies heavily on fossil fuels (Rodale Institute, USA)

Sustainable school meals that promote environmentally friendly agriculture help protect marine and terrestrial ecosystems impacted by soil management, safeguarding all living beings and the Earth’s environment.

In the "Green Food System Strategy" formulated in May 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries set goals such as significantly reducing the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers and expanding organic farming to 25% of the total agricultural area. As specific measures, they are promoting the introduction of sustainable agricultural products in school meals, establishing legal frameworks, and supporting school meals through the "Green Food System Strategy Promotion Subsidy."

In addition to these measures to combat climate change and global warming, organic farming also has the advantage of being resilient to climate change impacts such as droughts. Environmentally friendly agriculture enhances soil health, and there have been reports that it can secure relatively stable yields even under extreme weather conditions, which have become more frequent in recent years.
