【Carbon Neutral in Satsumasendai PR】

We charged an EV with 100% renewable electricity, converted the electricity from DC(Direct Current) to AC(Alternating Current), connected it to a coffee maker, and distributed free coffee made with renewable energy.We conducted a PR activity by expressing eco-friendly electricity, which has no “taste,” “smell,” or “color,” as “Renewable Energy Coffee.” 

【Supporting High School Students in Kagoshima Prefecture】

In 2023, we supplied 13 public high schools on the mainland of Kagoshima Prefecture with 100% renewable energy electricity with zero CO2 emissions, and in 2024, we expanded this to 47 schools, contributing to environmental measures.

Additionally, to support hardworking high school students, we are sponsoring the “Tegetege High School Festival 2024,” promoting student activities.
 

【Environmental Education and Outreach Classes】

We conduct outreach classes mainly at Yanagiyama Wind Turbine Park in Takaecho, where Turbine No. 12 of the Yanagiyama Wind Farm stands. These classes are offered to fourth-grade elementary school students in the city, as well as various organizations from within and outside the prefecture.
We support social studies field trips and environmental learning while promoting SDG initiatives.

・We publish a newsletter, Kaze Dayori, four times a year and distribute it primarily to customers in and outside the city (within Kyushu Prefecture). Together with our social media channels, we use this to promote SDGs initiatives.
・We have declared ourselves an *"IkuBoss” company and are registered as an SDGs-certified business in Kagoshima Prefecture.

*IkuBoss・・・An“IkuBoss”is a Japanese term for a manager or supervisor who supports their employees in balancing work and personal responsibilities, such as childcare or eldercare, while also enhancing workplace productivity.
