Initiative of SDGs
【Development of Effective Utilization Methods for Shochu Lees】
We are developing methods for effectively utilizing shochu lees, a specialty product of Kagoshima Prefecture.
Shochu lees, a byproduct of shochu production, contain many functional components beneficial to animals. However, their high viscosity and rapid spoilage make effective utilization difficult. To address this, EIDENSHA Co., Ltd. has developed a technology to reduce the viscosity and prevent spoilage of shochu lees. We provide “CAS Power,” a lactic acid-fermented shochu lees feed that promotes growth and reduces stress in animals.

【Volunteer Activities】
We actively participate in volunteer activities to contribute to environmental beautification.

【Clean Renewable Energy: Small Hydropower Generation】
Leveraging our expertise in instrumentation and electrical engineering, developed through experience with thermal, hydro, and internal combustion power generation facilities, we engage in electrical instrumentation work for small hydropower generation.
【Small-Scale Distributed Biogas Power Generation System】
We promote small-scale biogas power generation systems for individual farms. These systems generate methane gas from livestock manure, producing electricity, hot water, and liquid fertilizer. The generated electricity contributes to global warming countermeasures as a renewable energy source while also addressing environmental issues such as foul odors.
